A four-hour evening event on managing engineering software, run by OpenLM in association with NYBS Consulting and billed by the organiser as the first dedicated in-person industry event of its kind in the UAE. The programme has an OpenLM presentation on engineering software across its lifecycle, a partner session from NYBS Consulting and a one-hour panel on control, vendor models and AI, with speakers from KPMG Middle East, Rdash and EPCPROMAN. Listed takeaways include software cost and overpayment, vendor negotiation and audit readiness, cloud and HPC budgets, and AI for licence management. It is also a roundtable networking event for leaders with an interest in optimising licensing, and the start of a new network.
