About AGC of Missouri

According to AGC of America's centennial chapter history, the current AGC of Missouri was formed on 18 December 2014 through a merger involving the former AGC of Missouri, which had been founded on 15 November 1925. The same history traces part of the association's lineage to a 1949 merger of the Master Builders Association (founded 1896) and the Municipal Contractors Association (founded 1917).

Today the association works through three divisions, Building, Highway and Transportation, and Utility and Infrastructure, and provides advocacy, labour relations, safety, workforce development and networking services to its members. It runs offices in Jefferson City, St. Louis and Springfield and produces a weekly podcast on the Missouri construction industry.
